Ethnogarden on the Talas River

Just 11 kilometers from the city of Talas in the village of Orto-Aryk there is a dendrological park, or ethnogarden, called “Ernak” by local residents. This is a wonderful place for an ethical holiday, located in the Talas River valley. The dendro-park occupies an area of about one hectare. It was founded by local activists in 2017.

Among the fruit plantings of the dendrological park are five varieties of apple trees, quince, walnut, prune, apricot, Altai sea buckthorn, European raspberry, almond, cherry and peach. But the pride of the arboretum is the jasmine tea offered to guests.

Very close to the dendro-park, among the floodplain forest, there is a plot of land intended for a tourist complex on the banks of the Talas River. The site covers an area of about two hectares; in the near future it is planned to build a small guest house with amenities for a cozy stay.

The owner of the ethno-garden, Arsykan Momuntaeva, has undergone special training in tourism and is a member of the Talas destination. She happily welcomes guests and offers them unique recreational and educational opportunities at the Ernak dendrological park.

Contact number for Arsykan Momuntaeva: 0(554)026448. Dendro-park address: Talas district, Orto-Aryk village, Samagan street 14.
