Not far from the city of Talas, next to a river bed covered with a dense floodplain forest, there is a small pond farm and a favorite vacation spot for local residents, which they call “Aydyn Kol”. Here every guest can enjoy hospitality and comfort. You will be invited to visit an interesting two-story yurt, where you can not only taste local cuisine, but also spend the night admiring the light of the moon reflected in the calm surface of the pond. And for fishing lovers there is an opportunity to catch carp and grass carp.

The total area of the pond and the area where the house, garden, enclosures with peacocks and quails and other outbuildings are located is just over one hectare. But one of the features of Aydyn-Kol is that a significant part of the coast of the pond is reserved for a biotope, with original natural thickets.

This gives the place a special atmosphere and creates opportunities for the protection of waterfowl.
The hosts are hospitable and care about preserving nature. They cooperate with local forestry and actively suppress cases of poaching in the surrounding area, protecting at least six hectares of floodplain forest in the area.

The local household has the potential to develop ecotourism. However, there is some problem of waste management, and this is a challenge for improving the environmental situation. Not far from the private household “Aidyn Kol” flows a spring - Kanykei Apa. Kanykey is the wife of the hero Manas, one of the main heroines of the epic “Manas” of the same name - an encyclopedia of the life of the Kyrgyz people.
Another spring flowing nearby is named Aichurok Apa. Aichurek is also the heroine of legends. This is the bride and then the wife of the hero Semetey, the son of Manas.

In the future, the presence of the Kanykey Apa and Aichurok Apa springs may be of interest for the development of ethnic and historical tours and excursions in these places. Visit the Aydin Kol holiday destination and plunge into the world of unique nature, hospitality and peace! Feel free to contact the owners Eshenaliev Buzurman and Bubuya Atagulova by phone/WhatsApp: 0(705)619979. They are always ready to share information and answer your questions.
