He graduated from the Kiev Technological Institute of Light Industry in 1980 with a degree in chemical engineering. Specialist in environmental legislation, monitoring of mining activities and EITI (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative) in Kyrgyzstan. Experience in conducting public consultations and reducing conflicts in the mining industry through the use of social and environmental approaches to mining. Participation in socio-ecological research. Conducting training seminars on the topic “the law of the Kyrgyz Republic on hunting and hunting farms”.

Interests: Eco-journalism. Tourism.
Experienced ecologist and local historian. Development of ecotourism, ecotourism routes in various regions of Kyrgyzstan. Popularization of the sights of Kyrgyzstan on social networks.

Positions (currently):
• Regional director of the Union of Photojournalists of Kyrgyzstan - from 2020 to the present.
• Current expert and field specialist of the Public Foundation “EcoMiR” (Ecological
Monitoring and Investigation).

Skills and experience: Environmental engineer of the Ludwig Pfeiffer Company Project of the Asian Development Bank “Improving water supply and sanitation systems in the cities. Osh, Jalal-Abad and in the Bazar-Korgon" village (2014 - 2016). Head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Jalal-Abad Region; (2006-2008). Conducting training sessions on subsoil use and environmental protection in five regions of the Kyrgyz Republic as an expert at the OSCE Aarhus Center in Osh. (2012 - 2014). Head of the project “Reintroduction of deer into the Western Tien Shan” in joint program for the conservation of snow leopards of the Christensen Foundation and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (2015 – 2018). Expert trainer at the OSCE Aarhus Center in Osh (2008-2018).
Social activity:
One of the authors of the map of environmental violations (www.ecomap.kg) and the map of biodiversity (www.map.kg);
Expert motivator of the environmental social movement Ecostan (ecostan.kg); Eco-activist of the documentary project “Disappearing Kyrgyzstan”;
Participant of the eco-social initiative #MayorBishkekPotushi.
Organization of jamaats for the conservation of biodiversity: NGO "Chatkal Development Fund", NGO "Orchun", NGO "Zhamaat Alan-Too", NGO "Chegetey-Too", NGO "Maral-Too".
