Unforgettable Avletim: ecotourism in the village of Tovar-Sai

Welcome to the unique ecotourism community in the village of Tovar-Sai, located next to the village of Avletim on the border with Avletim forestry, Jalalabad region of Kyrgyzstan.

Here, surrounded by magnificent nature, you will be greeted by two comfortable guest houses to make your stay unforgettable. In one of the households you will be met by the head of the family Dildebek and his wife Nurcha, who will invite you to enjoy delicious honey collected from their apiary.

In the second house, young owners Bakyt and Aidana will prepare an unforgettable kuurdak (meat dish) for you and organize horse riding. In their eco-shop you can buy delicious preserves, medicinal herbs, kurut (traditional Kazakh dried dairy products), fresh vegetables and fruits grown in their own garden.

Both guesthouses adhere to the principles of ecotourism. Separate waste collection is carried out here, composting of organic residues is organized, and solar energy is used to heat water. In addition, the owners of both guest houses are members of the Alan-Too jamaat, which fights against poaching and protects the nature of the key biodiversity area Aflatun-Padyshata

Hospitable hosts of eco-friendly households will help organize treatment with kumys (a drink made from horse milk) and exciting tours to the high-mountain pastures of jailoo. Relaxing in cozy yurts will allow you to feel the atmosphere of real Kyrgyz life. You can also visit the Muslim pilgrimage site Shudugor-Ata. The source of healing water Shudugor-Ata is known for its ability to help treat eye diseases. By visiting the Shudugor-Ata mazar, you can get a boost of energy and learn a lot about the development of Islam in Central Asia.

Among other Muslim shrines, the Safed-Bulan and Padysha-Ata Mazar complexes are an hour and a half drive away. Don't forget about day and long-term horseback riding and hiking tours where you can enjoy watching wild argali on the mountain tops in Aflatuna. Particularly amazing in these places is Mount Alan-Too, the top of which seems to have been cut off with a knife, and the remains of an ancient fortress, still beyond the reach of archaeologists.

Immerse yourself in a unique combination of eco-tourism and national hospitality to create unforgettable memories of your visit to the Aflatun-Padyshat Key Biodiversity Area. To get to the place where the guest houses are located, you need to get to the village of Avletim, Aksy district, Jalalabad region of Kyrgyzstan and then follow the signs on the highway to the village of Tovar-Sai.
