According to the stories of elders, the mazar is the last refuge of the prophet named Arashan. He was a holy knight who, like Kyrgyz Manas hero, led people with him. Over time, passers-by began to read the Koran at this place, and it turned into a mazar - a holy place.
There is another legend about this place. Many years ago, a young barren woman prayed here for a child, and soon after she safely gave birth to her baby. Since then this place has become revered. People come here to pray for a cure and are said to make a full recovery.
Not far from the mazar, a camp has been organized to receive pilgrims. Here you can admire the clean, green area and visit healing springs. The camp's caretakers adhere to the principles of ecotourism.
Some outbuildings are equipped with solar photovoltaic panels - sources of electricity. There is also a pool for storing spring water, which is used to water the garden.
